Desktop Publishing - Produced public information newsletters for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). Produced brochures, public notices, media guides, public information notices, data collection forms, and other publications. Published employee newsletters for JBC Associates, Inc. and contributed technical support services for the Wyoming County Humane Society newsletter. Converted a variety of publications and documents into PDF format for purposes of online document distribution.
Sales & Marketing - Experience includes retail sales, order
desk & telemarketing sales, customer service and inside sales department
management, outside sales and product marketing. Managed two large regions
for a major sporting goods manufacturer. Retail sales experience in the
outdoor recreation and computer industries.
Computer Training and Services - Developed Adobe Photoshop workshops
and taught a 10-week course designed to improve proficiency with several
commonly used computer applications. Demonstrated software. Trained co-workers
and clients in the proper use of computer hardware and software. Formal
computer training includes work towards MIS Certification at Penn State
University (4.0 GPA). Recently completed course work on MS Access 2000
at Montgomery County Community College. Network experience, including
installation and support for a variety of computer hardware and software.
Developed and implemented database solutions (dBase III & IV, and
Microsoft Access II, 97, & 2000) and analysis spreadsheets (Lotus
1-2-3 & Excel), provided application support, and general system support
services.
Art & Photography - Exhibited original art and photography, including a three-man show at the Lizza Fine Art Studio, in Tunkhannock, with Warren Furman and Erick C. Johnson, a three-man show at Afa Gallery, in Scranton, with Curtis Salonick and Marvin Baker, one-man shows, regional exhibits, and the international photography exhibition, 'Il Corpo, Lo Spazio' in Italy. Artistic creations have spanned a variety of media including pencil, oil, watercolor, pen and ink, tempera, mixed media, black and white, and color photography, and digital imagery. Provided professional portrait photography services, aerial photography services and photographic record management.
