Shades of gray are sometimes inadequate to describe this long fascination with the landscape.

Nature presents it's finest forms in the landscape, and even through our ongoing struggle to shape these forms to suit our own needs, it shows itself.

These explorations do sometimes wander away from the strictest definition of "landscape" - perhaps "nature" would have been a more accurate description.
